is a writer and director from Ukraine, now based in London. Her storytelling is rooted in a deep belief in the power of simplicity and honesty, and is always drawn from her personal life. Her narrative explores what makes us more alike than we often realise — confusion, and the mistakes we make in our endless attempts to be understood and loved.
The war in Ukraine has deeply shaped her life and work. As a military volunteer, she witnessed both the fragility and strength of life in extreme situations — experiences that continue to inform her stories with urgency and purpose. Moving to the UK made her sensitive to themes of identity, belonging, and quiet resilience — layers she always tries to uncover in the characters she writes.
She has a background in documentary filmmaking, which makes her approach to fiction rooted in the same commitment to truth and raw, uncovered emotions. With a keen eye for performance, she works closely with both seasoned actors and new voices, creating spaces where vulnerability becomes strength on screen.
"To me, directing isn’t just a role — it’s a relationship. A way to connect with others, with truth, and with something greater than myself"
